Newfoundland and Labrador has eight brackets — the most in T4127 — and a July 2026 TCP jump that is option-scoped.

    Eight rates

8.70% to $44,678; 14.50%; 15.80%; 17.80%; 19.80%; 20.80%; 21.30%; 21.80% from $1,141,275. The top two bands exist so that very high A still has a published K. No other province publishes a bracket whose threshold is above $1 million.

January TCP $11,188; July TCP is option-scoped

The 123rd edition raises the personal amount: Option 1 TCP $15,000, Option 2 $13,094. Brackets and rates are otherwise the same as January. A 30 June vs 1 July NL pay date with identical gross therefore changes K1P, not R. That is a different mid-year event from BC’s first-bracket proration.

    Indexation 1.1%

The lowest provincial index factor in the 2026 files. Thresholds move slowly; the eight-band shape is inherited, not a 2026 invention.

    No LCP in the file

Unlike NS/NB/PE/MB/SK, the NL JSON has no lcp object.
